Committee for Children is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced senior systems administrator to join our team! In this role, you’ll work closely with the development team to manage the release processes and provide a stable, scalable, cloud-based infrastructure to host our online products. You’ll also work with other members of the IT and development team to drive adoption of newest technologies for delivery of these tools while playing a critical role in planning and engineering the organization's systems infrastructure.

Primary Responsibilities Include

  • Administer Windows Server, IIS, Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL
  • Provide support services to internal and external users with core functionality of line-of-business systems and networks
  • Provide Tier 1-3 support with networks, web, database servers, hardware, and all things IT
  • Own continuous improvement of process and procedures
  • Design, implement, and support network infrastructure on premises and in Azure
  • Design, implement, and maintain security systems and measures
  • Perform network assessments and security audits
  • Install, configure, administer, and support Microsoft SQL Server
  • Administer Office 365
  • Implement, manage, and support Azure infrastructure and services

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience designing, deploying, and maintaining hybrid solutions in Microsoft Azure
  • At least 5 years of experience providing IT support for Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, IIS, and SQL Server
  • At least a year of experience with Azure Active Directory, virtual machines, load balancing management, and network management with a security focus
  • Experience with application deployment strategies, continuous integration, and version control
  • Expert in HTTP, TCP/IP, SNMP, and DNS
  • At least 1 year of experience with Cisco switching and Cisco iOS
  • At least 3 years of experience automating IT tasks with PowerShell
